Cañada de los Pájaros is a reserve of aquatic birds, very close to Seville and the Doñana Natural Area. It acts as a sanctuary for local birds, providing plenty of shelter and food. The reserve welcomes a high number of birds throughout the year; over 2,000 birds from some 200 species can be observed here, including rare and endangered species.
Included in the Natura 2000 Network and in the Biosphere Reserve, the reserve is accredited with the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism.
