Lago Maggiore is a big lake located in northern Italy on the south side of the Alps. It was once a haunt for the English royals, and before that, for Ernest Hemingway, who would take artistic inspiration from the idyllic Borromean Islands. Highlights now include a palace and a botanical garden.
The lake and its shoreline are divided between the Italian regions of Piedmont and Lombardy and the Swiss canton of Ticino. Navigazione Isole Lago Maggiore is the starting point for passenger ferries to the Borromean Islands and beyond.

Complessivamente nulla da dire, aggiungerei solo che forse sarebbe opportuna una maggiore chiarezza nelle comunicazioni, perché non sempre si intuisce facilmente qual è l'imbarcazione giusta da prendere (ce ne sono svariate, di linea e non) e dove imbarcarsi
Très bonne organisation au niveau des bateaux même si on ne peut pas choisir l'ordre des îles. Attente inférieure à 10 mn entre chaque île. Très pratique.
