The strange cuboid building in Vienna's fashionable Museumsquartier contains the most-visited museum in the city. The Leopold Museum has a remarkable collection of Viennese Art Nouveau, the Vienna Workshop, and of the Expressionist period. It also has the largest Egon Schiele collection in the world - plus masterpieces by Gustav Klimt.
There are also revolving exhibitions and a great shop and cafe (with a great view overlooking the Museumsquartier).

Semplicemente meraviglioso! Un po’ di caos all’ ingresso…la giornata era piovoso e rispetto al museo belvedere il guardaroba era decisamente piu’ piccolo…piccoli sacrifici per una grande esperienza…

Etage angefangen, das ist sicher auch chronologisch der besserer Weg, vor allem aber gibt es dort am meisten zu sehen, zu lesen und zu bestaunen. L’app mi ha fatto acquistare il biglietto combinato di 2 musei per un giorno in cui il Leopold Miseum era CHIUSO! non so se avrei potuto utilizzarlo un altro gg, ma poco importa dato che non potrò perché sono già partita….. pessimo!
