About This Attraction
The Stadium of Domitian was commissioned by Emperor Titus Flavius Domitianus in 80 AD (the same year he also completed the Colosseum). The stadium is located to the north of Rome's Campus Martius and it was Rome's first permanent venue for athletic sports. In its heyday, it could hold up to 20,000 spectators.
This impressive UNESCO site is linked to Piazza Navona, which was built 4.5 meters above the ruins. Entry to the underground stadium has only been open to the public since 2014.

C'è stata la possibilità di fare un tour con il visore, ma era a parte, ma ne è valsa la pena, meraviglioso.
Absolut lohnenswert. Man bekommt Vorstellung davon, wie sich die Gegend im Lauf von Jahrtausenden verändert. Die Präsentation ist hervorragend. Die Leute sind sehr freundlich.

Lo Stadio di Domiziano merita molto la visita, non solo per i reperti archeologici da visitare quanto per conoscere la storia e per la mostra ben organizzata e chiara che c'è attorno. Carino anche il Quartiere di Trevi ma non aspettatevi di vedere l'acquedotto.. lo spazio è piccolo e si percorre i...
Molto interessante, ci ha permesso di scoprire ed apprezzare un lato della città eterna a noi sconosciuto

Molto bello lo stadio di Domiziano. Carino anche il tour, l unico inconveniente è stata l audioguida che si è scaricata e ho dovuto rifare la fila al turistoffice dove le ragazze sono molto carine e gentili ma prese d assalto dai turisti
Delusa dalla breve visita. Mi aspettavo fosse un sito archeologico più vasto.
