First opened in 1882, the Synagogue of Florence is both the beating heart of Florence’s Jewish community and an integral part of the city’s history. Its green copper dome adds a splash of color to the terracotta hues that dominate the city's skyline.
Behind the cast-iron railing, set in a lush garden, the Synagogue and Jewish Museum of Florence host a superb collection of artistic Jewish ceremonial items that offer a unique window into the historical soul of the city. It also offers breathtaking views across the rooftops of Florence.

Inspiring.
The most impressive synagogue that I have ever seen. The info provided by the guide was very informative. The museum has some of the most amazing historical pieces. I was blown away. A must visit
